Speaker and Sub placement...

708 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  cavu
Would you move the front L and R speaker further away from the center channel? Also, any thoughts on having two subs in the from corners? I've read some threads on avsforums when using multiple subs they should be on opposite walls...but I've seen a lot of photos where people have multiple subs on the same wall?

Thanks,

Gary

consider the two front speakers (L&R) and the listening position as an equilateral triangle (actually, it's not quite equilateral, but easier to visualize this way).

Another way is the Dolby Labs layout guide http://www.dolby.com/consumer/setup/...ide/index.html

if you use their 22 degrees min. angle, the speaker offset from centerline of screen would be 5'-2"
