Hi,

I recently bought the sony HT-DDW660 that comes with the default wires and question. Since this is only low end HT Will it be better to change the speaker wires or just use that comes with the system?

The same is for digital cable that comes with the box. i am connecting it to dvd player. Do the digital coaxial cable that comes with the box is good enough or i should but monster cable?

Thanks

I have the HT-V2000DP which is pretty similar to your unit and the wires that come with that is pretty thin...probably 24 gauge. I'm not sure what guage these speakers can accept, but maybe you should go to home depot, lowes or partsexpress to get some 16-18 guage wire.

As for the digital coaxial cable, I'm still using it for now even though I upgraded my system. I wouldn't spend too much on the cable, there are other alternatives to monster.
