Here is my problem... I would like to use my plasma TV's integrated speaker as my center channel in my 5.1 setup. The problem is my plasma has RCA (L/R) audio inputs and my receiver only has powered/preout connections for the center channel.
My question is... Do they make a cable that converts regular speaker wire to an RCA connector? I would be attaching the speaker cable to the preouts for the center channel and the RCAs to my plasma's audio IN.
Not sure if such an animal exists, but even if you could, odds are you'd be better off using no center channel (see phantom center) than using the TV as a center.
