I have a monster cable z1r speaker cable. One of the connectors on the end of the cable has broken. The gold flex pin tip broke off.

I bought a quick lock flex pin GFP-H RS replacement but it will not work. It will not fit onto the cable.

Here is the connector that was broken. Notice the connector threads on it are not visible as they are on the inside.

Please can someone tell me what type of replacement connector I need to repair the z1r cable or how I might make this one work?

We need bigger pics.....cant make them out.

Regardless, take the cables back where you purchased them....AFAIK, Monster has a lifetime warranty.
