I only want to spend this much on speakers and sub. Please let me know what ideas you have, from any company. I open to sats and floor speaker combo's, but I live ina n apt. so sats are prob the best. Thank you all!

From the price range given I assume you're fairly entry-level like myself. I just upgraded from an Onkyo HITB setup to the Velodyne CHT Front Rows ($200) paired with a JBL S120PII sub ($275). As my first "real" surround system, let me tell you...I am really freakin' satisfied. Just a suggestion.
