Hello there!
I have a question about impedance and speaker usage.
I recently bought a Denon 3311 receiver and FR, FL and center KEF spearkers (2xQ500 and Q200c).
The Denon spec is to use speakers: 6-18 OHMs.
My KEF speaker are 8OHMs.
And I have some Pioneer speakers from an old HT... the speakers are:
- 6 OHMs
- Receiver power was 125W/channel.
Question:
- Can I use those Pioneer speakers as Surround? Will it damage the receiver or the speaker? I read somewhere that this could happen...
Thanks for your help, I don't know much about impedance!
