For multi-channel audio, I'm letting my DVD player (Pioneer45A) do bass management -- its small/large speaker crossover is 100Hz. I use the subwoofer line input into my speakers (Infinity IL60s) and set the IL60 Low Pass Filter to Off. The IL60's internal subwoofer/woofer crossover is at 150Hz. Will the IL60 internal high-pass filter remain active? In other words, am I creating a "hole" between 100 and 150Hz? Sorry if this has already been adressed in this forum, but a search on "hole low pass" and some other variants didn't get me very far!

The sub's filter will remain active, but should be high enough that it will not get in the way. There should not be any gap in the bass response.

If the source (DVD player?) is already doing the crossover duties, then presumably everything
