My HT will be in my basemennt and is 13 x 30. My couch will be about 8 feet back which leaves approximately 20 feet to the back wall.
I want to put 7 speakers, 2 in front, center, 2 surrounds and 2 in back. The speakers will be studio 60 in front and studio 20 for side and back. My dilemma is how to mount the side and back.
For the side I could mount them on the wall or use stands. I guess if would be two feet about ear height for the speakers? Would it be better to wall mount them on a swivel or use a stand?
As for the back, the wall is too far back. It would seem my only options are to put them on stands behind the couch or go on the ceiling? Can you or should you mount on the ceiling? Or should I just stick to them being on stands behind the couch?
