Very true. And if you really want to make sure things are as good as they could be... learn to take frequency response regardings of your room. Then you will see exactly what is going on.

Speaker placement really is important!
So I just sold my couch and I've been sitting on the floor and completely baffled on how much better my entire system sounds. I always read about the best sitting locations, speaker height, speaker locations etc. but I never gave or any thought. And the floor just changed all that. I realized that all my speakers have been to low for the past 3 years for actually sitting in a couch. Man, am I blown away time to re-read speaker setup and get the correct placement. Please nobody make my mistake and just toss speakers because your to lazy to find the correct placement.
