Your budget allows you many options. I currently have Paradigm Studio 40's (Mains), Studio CC, SA-30R's (in-wall for surround) and a PS1000 sub. I like the sound they produce. I have auditioned many Paradigm/Rotel combinations and have always liked the sound. You might try some B&W's, KEF, Monitor Audio. I think your best option is to find some HiFi shops and go listen, then listen some and listen again. It took me 3 months to make a decision on my speakers.
