Speaker Selection to go with a Commercial Plasma

Anybody have any suggestions for a pair of "inexpensive" speakers I can use with a TH-42PH10UKA I plan to purchase for my master bedroom?? TV is going to be sitting on a table so just looking for a small pair with output coming from the display; no AVR.

Don't want to spend all that $$$ on the Pana speakers, just looking for a decent good looking relatively inexpensive pair for TV viewing only.

Thought I'd ask before searching the web.

You might try the speaker forum but you can use basically any pair of regular bookshelf speakers. BB and CC have some decent ones for well under a hundred bucks, and if you hate the way they sound you can return em and try something else

I used a pair of surround speakers from my Polk system. I have also tried some other speakers I've found laying around. So far I have yet to see one that doesn't work yet. They aren't picky about speakers, just make sure they have the proper ohm and watts ratings.
