can anyone recommend a speaker setup for a theater room that my sister is putting in her new house. the room is 10 x 18 and they will be putting in a projector and screen. They are looking to spend around 1,000 the speakers. any suggestions?

may want to look at svs speaker system package.
I heard they make very good quality sub woofers and speakers. you also can get one of there speaker package for $949.99 but i believe the sub woofer comes separate. http://www.svsound.com/products-sys-sbs_black.cfm

You may also want to post whether this is a 5.1 or 7.1 setup she is looking for. Room dimensions are one thing - whats in the room? Carpet? Heavy drapes on windows? Overstuffed furniture? Tile floor? Big glass windows? These all play a role in what speaker might be best for the particular room.
A room with hard tiles and lots of glass would be the last place I'd recommend Klipsch - but in a room with lots of soft materials I very well might.
