Hi. I am currently looking to pair my YAMAHA RX-V573BL with a set of speakers.

I currently have the Klipsch HD Theater 600 Home Theater System, which was sold as a bundle by Newegg, but they keep blowing out. Klipsch told me that they would never pair these two together because the receiver is more powerful than what the speaker can handle.

So now, I am looking for a new speaker set. My room is about 14x10.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's not the power that's "blowing" them out. It's likely the distortion from being over driven. The Yamaha 573 in multi channel output doesn't have a whole lot of power. It takes a long time to cause a speaker to fail by being driven beyond its rated input with clean undistorted power.

That said, I just upgraded to a Klipsch RF system from 5 NHT SuperZeros and really like the improvement.

Edit0 My room is not much bigger at 13x14.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry, not very well versed in AV-tech. Is there any way to prevent it to be "over driven"? Is that a matter of not playing it too loud for an extended period of time?

Is your budget over or under $3000 dollars?
