Hi, I'm looking for suggestions on which speakers, besides the Pioneer ones, that match nicely with the 433CMX display. Don't want to pay $500 for a pair of 2W speakers.

I have the display wall mounted in my bedroom with no HT setup. So obviously I'm not looking for high-powered speakers, just something that I can hang on the wall and not in-wall.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions and/or comments.

Get the cheapest thing you can find.I had an old pair of 5 watt speakers in the cellar and I use them but just for sd cable stuff.I have a very expensive surround system foe everything else.

My solution was to use the matching panasonic speakers I bought to go with my SD panasonic that I never bought. I had the speakers and wall bracket ready to go, things got "interesting" with the vendor, and I ended up with a 433cmx from a different vendor. Also not wanting to spend $500+ on cheap speakers, I simply used the brackets that came with the speakers and bolted them to the wall on either side of the pioneer. Worked fine (the speakers are recessed about 2" from the front of the plasma...) and more importantly, the wife is happy (!). I paid FAR less than $500 for them-email me if you need the place...

Two ways to go. If you're eventually going to get a receiver, you might want to spend a little more on something that you would use with the receiver. If not, I agree, get the cheapest that are acceptable. I got some small Polks for about $60 per.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I do have a bunch of small speakers lying around but they all portrude too far out from the wall and be distracting. I was kinda hoping someone knows of a pair of relatively flat speakers that would aesthetically blend with the display. Thanks.
