I just finished installing my budget whole house audio system. There are two speakers in the bedroom that are controlled by a simple in-wall volume control. The source comes from a receiver in the bonus room. What I would like to be able to do is to use the speakers in conjunction with the TV in the bedroom as well. Is there a good way to switch between the TV in the bedroom as a source and the receiver in the bonus room as the source. If so, what is it?

You would need an A/B switch like this:

Both sources would connect to the switch and then out to the volume control and speakers.
