Hi all,

Looking to upgrade speakers and currently considering two options.

1: Polks LSiM707 for 2K

2 Martin Logan Vista XStat for $1700

I'm currently running Polks RTi10s for my mains. My system includes a Pioneer Elite VSX-53 and a EMOTIVA XPA-3 Gen-2 Amp.

Need to know which one is a better speaker and which one is a better deal? Also, will i hear a big improvement in sound with either of these speakers. Both are used.

My system is used 50/50 for music and movies.

Any input would be great. Thanks.

Do you notice difference between Pioneer amplifiers and the Emotiva?

I'm not an audiophile, but i do notice that the sound coming out of the speakers do sound better. Listening to more music since i installed the EMOTIVA.

I can't answer your question directly for lack of personal experience but I can tell you that the better value will always be the one with the sound you prefer.

I will be listening to the Martin Logan's today at 4.

Waiting to hear from the Polk seller.
