Speaker Wire Help

Hello all. I have a quick question- I went up to my local Lowe's and looked into some speaker wire for my home. I couldn't find any of the sleeved speaker wire (I think they call it contractor's wire? the power and ground wire are encased) and all they had was regular speaker wire. Is regular speaker wire ok to run thru walls or do i really need to look into getting the wrapped kind? Thanks!

inwalls due to code and insurance it should be cl2 or cl3.
