I am planning to set up a home theater room. As a initial step, I have bought a AV receiver (Denon AVR-S720W 400-Watt 7.2-Channel) and currently researching for the right speakers for this receiver. Found this forum really useful.

I am ok with the home theater speakers in a box or to buy it separately within a $1000 budget.

Thanks in Advance
KM

Where are you located? Am asking because there are excellent internet-direct speakers that are mainly available to those inside the US only.

Welcome to AVS :).

Just so you know, you have a 75 watt/channel amplifier (standard 2 channel rating) in that AVR. Now, 75 watts should be more than ample depending upon how far away you sit from the speakers and how loudly you play movies and music. If you like things really loud (but not reference loud) and sit more than 12 feet away, then think about a speaker on the sensitive side, say around 90 dB sensitivity. If not, then that opens the door to a LOT of speakers. Are we talking about the front two speakers only? Or are we talking about 5 speakers? Seven speakers?

You didn’t mention a sub. How large is your room? Is it open to other rooms? What are you expecting from a sub?

From Canada.

Some reference I have is as below
1. Klipsch R26F 100-Watt Tower Speaker
2. Klipsch R25C 100-Watt Centre Speaker
3. Klipsch Reference R14M 200-Watt Bookshelf Rear Speaker
4. Klipsch R10SW 10" 150-Watt Powered Subwoofer

Will this be a suitable choice to my receiver.

I don't have the dimensions of my room. It is pretty big which a 7.1 can easily be used. I am looking for front/tower, center and rear with sub woofer

Sure; can you get all of that for under $1,000?

Your receiver will do fine with those speakers, the question is whether YOU will or not---I'd strongly recommend going out and listening to them first, because people either love or hate Klipsch, they are very polarizing speakers due to their treble performance.
