Hello All,


I recently auditioned Vienna Acoustics Hayden Grands. I thought they were an incredibly warm sounding speaker, which I love. I did not love the price tag however. Does anyone know of a speaker that is cheaper in price with similar sound characteristics? I will be using them for mostly ht and gaming.

Unfortunately, they are very hard to beat. For a cheaper price, try the B&W CM series bookshelves, or the B&W 685 (or any 600 series bookshelf). The B&Ws sound "warmer", but they are not as detailed or have as nice of a soundstage as the Vienna Acoustics.

I have the Mozart Grands. Also have a pair of Quad 22L's in the theater that have a very similar sound. Went with the Quad's because of bi-amp capability. But really depends on your price point.

As previously mentioned, depends on your budget. But, I find Monitor Audio to be a warm speaker, especially their Gold Series.
