This is my first post to this forum but the website has been very helpful so far. I just purchased my first receiver (Denon 2808CI) and am looking to buy some "first" speakers to go with it that I can upgrade later. It won't be in a very large room and I only want to spend around $600 right now. My concerns are that I would like to be able to put it in a larger room eventually and I don't want to buy garbage this first time around.
I was looking at the Quintet III or Mirage Nanosats (buy the sub next month) but should I really be buying separates and working from there? And finally, if I should do separates what do you suggest?
