"Many ATI graphics and TV products are certified for the Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition logo program. These additional Windows XP Media Center Edition technical requirements are designed by Microsoft to enable consumers and partners to make more informed decisions for PC purchases. Does that mean if I use the 'regular' recent driver from ATI, it would not work with MCE2005?

Or it works, but picture quality is MUCH better using the specialize drivers?

Also, does not look like cards below Radeon 9550 are supported? Why is that? I have 7500 Radeon. Will not work?

Very confusing

Thanks in advance...

Bump.

I just noticed this too. The Radeon 7500 was working just fine for MCE 2004. What is so different in MCE 2005 that a heavier video card is required? Which technology is used in MCE 2005 that is not supported with the Radeon 7500?

Thanks, Thomas
