Wiring question 2 + 2 = 4? right

Currently have two subs DVC4 = 2 ohm load each. They get hooked up to 1 channel on a inuke 3k each. Issue is I want to consolidate amps on my rack due to space. Taking the subs out of the box is a huge PIA so my question. Can I take the subs as they sit now DVC4 = 2 ohms to show a total load of 4ohms with both subs hooked up to a single channel. The inuke 6k wants a 4ohm load to get full power out of it.

I was thinking I take the (-) and (+) from sub box together than connect the remaining (-) (+) lines one from each box and hook that up to a single channel on the amp. Image attached for reference

and also does anyone have the specs handy from the SI Ht18's DVC4 I want to compare it to a new sub I was debating on using ?

Thanks!

not those....

the D4 version had different t/s parameters than the D2. I remember a thread about it , and did get the specs emailed to me from nick. I did a quick search through my email but couldn't find it. I seem to remember the gist of it all was the D4 liked a bigger box than the D2.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I'll try to look some more.

It basically is a bandpass design with one major exception that instead of 2 standard ports, the larger port is actually a quarter wave guide. Making it a hybrid horn.
anyone tried a sealed PA style 21" build lately? I was thinking of smaller boxes like small as I can go and down firing so little hands can damage stuff.

and for the records its me who wants small boxes my wife said "put those 4' dual subs down here".

The small sealed PA style enclosure is great for rock concert style sound 40Hz and up. But it will start rolling off around 70-80Hz. Try modeling it in WinISD. IMO, better if you stick with ported.

Man finally got WinISD and those old HT18s look sooo much better on paper than all these PA subwoofers in a 16 cubed box. Even the 21 has less low end. granted it has way more about 15 db or so at like 45 hz and up.but at 15-20 its a 5 db gain over the 21. Maybe I could mix and match. do a few of one and a few of another? Get some more mid range cause I will say the ht18s dont really come awake until its a low bass note.
