I just noticed that the spec sheet is up for the Mercury HD.


Since the Marantz S3 retails for 17k with the long throw lens, at just another 2 grand, the 3 chip Mercury HD doesn't look so bad

If I'm not mistaken (at home now and not at the store), the Mercury is $29,995 msrp...I will verify tomorrow and post all the specs as well.


It did look mighty good.





but so did the Sony SXRD


not sure yet which I will have to recommend at the $25-30K price range.
