Are you sure it was the 3D version of Avatar?

A. The 3D Version was only offered as a Panasonic exclusive, thus not so easy to get.

B. Ripping 3D Bluray is tricky at this early time. It can be done, but i know there are a ton of potential issues doing it right now.

C. pretty sure you have to rip 3D Bluray to Recordable Bluray. or to hard disk.

i copied the following 3 movies to 1 dvd

Dinosaurs Giants of Patagonia 3D Half-SBS.mkv

Xenopod.3D.Half.SbS.avi

Sony Bloggie 3D Test Video.mp4

the sony test video with mp4 format its sbs, it does play but its playing normal, no 3d effects

the other 2 video plays fine, very nice 3d effects

why the sony one doesnt play? maybe mp4 format problem?

When you say the 3d effect isn't there - do you see the screen split in 2?

avatar file format i am trying to play is mp4

the screen is not split, its like the following image
