MY stand alone Sony TIVO received an updated list of channels on Friday via it's usual daily call. It displays guide data for D*'s HD channels, but obviously can't record or display them.


I get a message from TIVO about new channels, this message said that Channel 85, Spice HD was added. Programming looks like it begins this morning. I normally don't even look at these messages because it is just usually number shuffling.


No idea what this means or if it is accurate. Let the debate begin

WEll, I'll reiterate on this thread, since it actually fits your subject line better.


Cool! I don't see it on my regular receiver yet. 85 is still isted as showing "How To Deal" I want it to be a subscription channel ala Playboy TV rather than PPV. I think they'd get more money out of me, and I'd get to watch HD porn at my own convenience. Playboy better get on the ball, cuz I'd drop them for a HD Spice subscription in a heartbeat.

I see Spice HD on both the ReplayTV and DTC100 schedules. It is a pay per view channel!


No mention of CBS or FOX HD.

If you check the Directv Online Program guide it shows Spice Clips HD at 9:30 PM (central time) on Sun Feb 1st on ch 85. What a way to end the Superbowl Party!

Not on my SIR-TS160 yet but I am Praying and Hoping. I read that Playboy is buying 1400 hours of HD Spice adult content for this year. Obviously, Playboy has seen the changing of sexual mores and attitudes in the U.S. and is moving towards more truly adult oriented material for mature adults.

This channel is showing up on my Sony HD300 program guide (same time and dates as mentioned above).
