up until recently i was using JBL ncenter, n26(main) n24(rear) and a cheap sony center speaker for the 6th channel. i just got a set of nd310II's for mains and put the n26's as rears and one n24 as 6. is there a way to split the 6th channel to go to both of the n24's or should i just stay with one?

You have two main options if you don't want to get new electronics. You can connect the two speakers in parallel or in series.

Parallel is a problem if your receiver isn't rated for low-ohm speakers. Using a parallel connection means your receiver sees half as much impedance as a single speaker.

A series connection is sure to work, but you can only get half as much power (as into a single speaker) because impedance is doubled.
