Does anyone know if it's safe to stack the Panasonic DST-50 STB on top of the HD-1000 recorder? Or is too much heat generated by the STB?

Both of my TU-DST51/PV-HD1000 setups are like this.

One additional cooling tip: There is an extra aluminum shield pan glued into the top of the TU-DST50W to cut down on spurious electromagnetic radiation that would have not allowed this product to pass FCC Part 15 rules.

This aluminum pan, while doing an effective job of keeping radiation down, restricts the flow of air. I removed it entirely and my tuner runs a lot cooler now.
