Standard Def on HD Cable boxes question

When cable companies implement HD and distribute new cable boxes, do the analog SD stations get changed over to digital or is it still analog?

Still analog,

I just got CBSHD and when compared to channel 2 CBS on analog its night and day. I prefer to watch all analog channel through S-Video connection and the digital channels through component.
