Friday night I watched Enterprise on UPN 44-1 (that's how the HDTivo labels it) in HD, and it looked amazing. On Sunday it was repeated, and it didn't look Hi-def at all: it was letterboxed inside a 4:3 "Window" inside my 16:9 LCD panel. I've seen this before.

What does this mean? When I see it that way, is everyone who is receiving that signal seeing it the same way, or can it be some problem with my setup. I just put up a UHF Antenna pointing at Sutro Tower (I live about a mile from the tower), and all the locals come in fine (i.e., no pixellation, dropouts, etc). Is this a problem coming from UPN-44? Is it a problem with the UPN network? It was definitely a dramatic difference, and I don't want to watch it in its dimished form. Should I be calling UPN-44? Did anyone else see either of these showings?
