Not sure if this will make it to Netflix...

Quote:
Starz Entertainment will make more movie content available on demand as part of a new long-term deal announced today with Avail-TVN, a supplier of video-on-demand content to cable companies nationwide.

Starz will offer 350 standard-definition films and 56 high-definition movies through the service, though what's available to consumers will vary by cable provider. Content will include such major Hollywood releases as Hancock, You Don't Mess With the Zohan, WALL-E and National Treasure: Book of Secrets as well as Starz Originals including Crash and Head Case.

Starz said that with the deal, the company can broaden its VOD distribution and increase the amount of content it puts out on VOD. Starz also will be able to use Avail-TVN's digital backend services for digital asset management and asset tracking.
