Hi guys,

I'm having trouble getting ProLogic signals out from my WinTV card to my external ProLogic decoder.

Sky Digibox SCART2 (Composite) -> WinTV Composite (through DIN)

Sky Digibox SCART2 (Audio) -> WinTV Line input

WinTV audio output -> ALC650/SB51 Line in (with system in 2ch mode to enable input)

ALC650/SB51 SPDIF Output -> Yamaha DSP-A1 decoder DVD Optical In

ALC650/SB51 Front Stereo Output -> Yamaha DSP-A1 decoder V-Aux analog In

AC3 works fine, and sounds great.

If I select a ProLogic channel on a DVD, it also works fine.

If I'm watching a NICAM ProLogic TV channel, and the decoder is set to ProLogic decode it seems to spread the Center channel out over the front 2 speakers, and creates a nasty echo.

If I turn ProLogic decode off on the amp, I get good stereo sound.

Any suggestions on how to get ProLogic working?

Andy.

Update - For some reason running AudioSel seems to improve the situation. I can now get ProLogic decode working as expected. Must be some registry or driver tweak that audiosel is making.
