I'm in the design phase of a 17 X 24 X 9.5' room addition to my house

which will be used for a home theater. At this point I'm inclined toward

either the InFocus 7200 or 5700 projectors. I'm considering either

a 110" diagonal 16:9 Stewart Firehawk Electriscreen or a 106" Da-Lite

High Contrast Cinemavision. The room will be moderately light

controlled, viewing distance about 15'. It will be used primarily for

DVD's, SDTV and maybe later HDTV.

Do any members have thoughts on which would be the better

choice for these projectors in this situation? Are there any differences

in reliability for the tensioned electric screens from either company?

They are both reliable screens from two good companies. The HCCV has a gain of 1.1 while the Firehawk has a gain of 1.35. So depending on your gain requirements, it might make a differnece.

you'll likely be hapy with either. I think the HCCV feels brighter despite the rating differences
