Hello...

I just sell my 123" 16:9 FireHawk to my friend, now I want to know from your experience about Stewart GreyHawk and FireHawk screen. I want to buy new screen for me

123" Screen Size with total light control

1. Is it true that FireHawk need higher projector lumens ? I have AE-100 with 700 lumens but picture is not to clear. Also Sharp 9000 with 800 lumens.

2. Is it true that GreyHawk need lower lumens ? eg. 700 lumens is enough ?

Thank you for your kind attention & help.

Hi,

The Firehawk has a higher reflective index than the Grayhawk and therefore will be better for projectors that aren't as bright as it will reflect more of the light projected on it back out again. In addition, the Firehawk will do a better job at reducing the effect of ambient light in the room from affecting the picture's contrast.

Regards,

Glenn
