Stewart Reversed Roll Model A Electriscreen

I installed a reversed roll model A electriscreen. I would like to decrease the screen extension, according to the instructions you lower screen halfway down. How can I lower the screen halfway down with the screen trigger interface option? Can I do the adjustments with the screen up? Do I turn switch clockwise as per instructions or counter clockwise as per message by Don Stewart dated 2/2/2001.
