I just copied 16 Gigs of videos to hard drive on PS3. But now they are not organized in folders, they are individually listed. There MUST be some way to organize vids into folders.

Yeah, Sony needs to add some kind of media UI to the PS3. Or let another company write one and sell it on the PS3 store.

the problem is not just limited to vids but pics and music too. I wanted to replace my profile avatar and had to scroll thru 20 gigs of pics - took forever just to get to the pic I was looking for.

Although it was originally pitched as having the capabilities of a media center, the current configuration doesn't really allow for it. Limited playback, limited network connectivity, limited... limited... limited.

Therefore it's not surprising that they don't have the user interface setup to properly sort all the files.


All we can do is *hope* that the March update brings a little more capability to the table.


I'll be disappointed if they don't humor us a little.

it is going to be wacky to organize media via gamepad... is anyone using USB drives to use their media library? I am thinking of pluging in my 300 GB hard drive via usb, not only it is easy and cheap, PS3 will recognize folders then...
