Funny you brought this disc "up". I just lent it to a friend at work

who had never seen the movie. I wouldn't mind a "Special Edition"

version, or whatver.

If Fox did a re-release, it would be at a lower DTS bit-rate. Stick with the LD, as it's doubtful it will be topped.

Well, I did a comparison back when it first came out, using the MUSE HD laserplayer. The video quality was just as good as the DVD, with some scenes even having better detail! Still, it depends on what player one is using. Of course, Fox has been offering movies on HD-VHS. Since the Dolby audio on those releases has so far been superior to their DVD counterparts, it's would be a great title for that format if they choose to release it.
