I have the Windows XP Media Centre PC with the ATI X300LS

video card. I have a Pioneer PDP-5040HD plasma display connected to it.

When the computer boots up the display comes perfectly fine as expected.

Plasma has 4 inputs, and the HTPC is connected to input 3.

But if I change the input on the plasma ( to check what is on TV connected to input 1 ) and come back to input 3, my screen is blank.

I tried hours to overcome this problem without any result.

Please help me if you can at least give pointers to the solution.

Thanks a lot

Norris,

I had the same problem when I updated my ATI card driver to Cat 5.8. I could restore the DVI signal if I disconnected the DVI cable and reconnected. I fixed the problem by installing ATI Cat 5.4 drivers.
