Strange Sammy 151 behavior

Recently I'd been getting a lot pixellation on my HD channels. I have 9 bars signal which I've always had and things were fine. I tried readjusting the antenna and got no more than nine bars, and no improvement on pixellation. Now I'm seeing the no signal screen occasionally and all the colors are out of alignment. Meaning I can see the red, blue and green components of the text and box. This also happens on the menu screen. Also, I get a strange red horizontal line across the screen sometimes with signal and picture and sometimes without. It is a line like this in red:

--- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- and it runs across the top third of the screen. Sometimes a power cycle will get things working correctly and other times it will not.

I have not done the broadcast flag upgrade, but I did register tonight. Can you give me any idea what is up? The monitor works fine on other inputs, both SD and HD so it is not the TV. I've swapped cables as well and that isn't the problem.

Any ideas?

My first 151 had some of the symptoms you describe so I returned it for another. The second 151 worked perfectly but had a power supply whine that I could hear from across the room, so I returned that one and ordered a Zenith 520 STB (Directv/OTA). The Zenith has none of the issues that both the Sammys had and it's been working perfectly for over 2 years. I wish my new HDTivo was as good as the Zenith, it's close but still has a few minor little characteristics that make it not as good
Try a cooling fan on it for a day or so and see if it is just overheating.
