OK here it is:
I have a HDSAT-520 attached directly to a Marantz DLP projector using the DVI connection. After watching TV for may be a hour or two i get a stuck pixel (shows green) Before you say that it is a PJ know this: I swapped out the pj for the same model pj to see if it was the issue ...... nope! The dead pixel showed up in the exact same place. On top of that, if I turn the HDSAT-520 off for a minute then turn it back on the pixel comes back live ( for a while till it gets stuck again....)
It always get stuck color green.
Its always in the same exact place.
If I switch to component input its not there, but when I switch back to DVI its still there!
No other issues are seen with the DVI connection. I have been using this combo pj/hdbox for 2 years. This pixel issue is 3-4 months old.
Any ideas? How can one pixel get stuck in a dvi connection?
thanks!
Bernie
