I was wondering if there's a way that I could stretch my HDTV recordings on my Motorola 6412 DVR. I have set the TV type to 16:9 in the settings, but it still displays it letterboxed. I know it will look stretched, I don't mind.

Yes that is exactly what I want to do. I want to stretch my 16:9 HDTV recordings to fill up my 4:3 TV.
