Struggling to find a stand for VESA 440 x 650

Hello, all

I recently won a raffle for my company's older TV, and am now the owner of a Sharp Aquos LC-65D64U. I won't be able to mount this on the wall of my apartment (I have found a couple of wall mounts that fit this TV), but I am having an impossible time finding a table-top stand to fit this odd VESA mount size of 440 x 650.

It's simple enough to find something for this width, but that height has given me a heck of a time so I want to reach out to y'all in hopes that someone here might have an idea.

I have searched eBay for an OEM stand, looked at every option on Amazon and beyond (none are tall enough to be able to mount on both holes), and even reached out to Sharp (they responded, pointed me to a couple of dealers who had nothing).

How does one find a TV stand for a peculiar VESA height that is just out of the norm? I'd really appreciate any help!

In case you may have missed it the most flexible tabletop VESA mount I can think of is the Mount-It universal tabletop TV stand base:

Thank you for the response, but unfortunately that stand is still not tall enough. The holes in that stand have a max distance of 21 inches from top to bottom, and the mounting holes on my TV are almost 26 inches apart.

I see the issue is with the 640mm vertical spacing. The nearest I could come were some wall mounts with vertical spacing up to 800mm. But then you'd need to find appropriate legs to fit to the wall mount to turn it into a desktop mount. The only other option I can think of is to go to a local metalworking shop and see how much they'd charge to produce custom legs fitted to your TV similar to the Mount-It model I previously referenced. Getting freebies like an odd spec TV can sometimes get expensive.

Yeah, if it were me I'd probably go with custom legs similar to the Mount-It legs but sized to fit your odd VESA 650mm vertical dimension. The up to 800mm vertical wall mounts are a little pricey and would still require custom legs for a table mount. So might as well skip the wall mount and just have custom legs made that attach directly to the VESA mounting points. If you look at the Mount-It leg design it's really very simple and should be easy to replicate at a local metalworking shop at a decent cost.

Thinking a little further you might be able to find pre-made steel L brackets that could work simply by drilling the appropriate holes in them. Imagine from the image below of two small back-to-back L brackets how you could use two pairs of much larger L brackets with one pair bolted back to back on each side of the TV VESA mount with the bottoms of the Ls going in different directions to serve as stabilizing feet. If you could find the right size there'd be no metalwork involved other than drilling the appropriate size holes for the VESA mount.

One last thought: A single piece of inexpensive plain steel flat bar could easily be bent into the proper shape at almost any metalworking shop to produce each of two legs. All you'd need to do is drill two holes in each at the appropriately placed 650mm VESA spacing. Think in terms of something similar to an inverted 7 (but a little curvier than the example below) from bent steel flat bar.

I'm glad I keep too many tabs open on my computer for too long, or I would've missed this question. Sorry to say, but my solution isn't universal. I ended up buying heavy duty VESA mount legs (can't link, but Amazon search for "Atlantic universal heavy duty" if you have a heavy TV) and was able to drill holes in the wall mount frame that was already attached to the TV so that it could connect to the legs. Even still, while the legs fully support the TVs weight, when I set it up I will have to secure it with straps as it is a little top heavy and leans forward.
