I recently acquired at least 5 - 6 green stuck/flashing pixels in a row and another all on it's own.

With normal TV viewing they are not visible at all.

I've read through various threads and have looked up all over the web regarding this issue but there is no real definitive answer as to what the cause is or how it can be repaired.

My question is, does the set have a defect in which if the stuck pixels are left alone will the panel introduce new problems or should I just leave it the way it is and keep running a DVD that has fast motion with bright colors as some others have suggested and the problem might go away?

FYI, TV is three months old with a 2 year warranty...

Well, in case anyone is interested, here is a fix to stuck pixels:

www.jscreenfix.com

After just 15 minutes of running this app all stuck pixels are gone!!

This works both for LCD and Plasma displays.

Note: This will not fix dead pixels

Funny how they have the Samsung unit with the stuck pixel.

Funny how I prefer to have flashing green stuck pixels than to have a flashing red power indicator light.

Yes, it cleared all stuck pixels within 15 minutes....I held my breath for that long too.

It worked for me, not certain what type of track record it holds, that's a different story I guess.

I figured Google eventually would come up with something, I got lucky I found the app.

Personally I've experienced neither, but I can see how your choice would be the lesser of two evils.

Don't let him bother you. He's that way with Pioneer owners also.
