Hello,
I use WinXP with the new Cineplayer 4. The picture quality ist breathtaking but sometimes I have a kind of video stutter. It's little like the effect in the beginning of Galdiator.
Long times the movie is perfectly smooth and the it happens ;(
Config:
Asus A7V with latest VIA drivers
AMD TB 900
GeForceGTS
Soundblaster1024
I use the actual Toshiba DVD-ROM which switches to 1x with a movie inside and sometimes I have the feeling that the problem is that the data is not coming fast enough from the drive.
Questions:
1) Has someone an idea what the reason could be?
2) How can I enable a read ahead cache in WinXP or W2K? Perhaps this could solve the problem.
To say it clear: In spite of the problem I love this new player and his picture (for PAL DVDs turn you have to activate "ForceWeave").
Thanks in advance
Frank
