I recently built a nice htpc but have noticed that during playback of blu-ray content, either 2D or 3D, there is what I would describe as a buffering issue where the movie gets real choppy and the hard drives are running like mad. This happens if I'm watching blu-ray from disc or from hard drive.
I don't know if it's a paging issue or what, but my specs are:
I have it set up such that my applications sit on one drive, and my content on other drives. I should point out that I have enabled hardware acceleration and the graphics device is given exclusive control.
I had considered putting up the resource manager while watching content to see what's going on but in the interim was wondering if this community may have some insight.
Many thanks.
