Hey guys, this problem has me totally miffed. I'm running 1920x1080 60Hz on a Pearl with a 6600gt. It plays movies fine, but when in windows (xp), any dialog box comes up (ie new hardware wizard, or dvd decrypter window, or any other app) it starts to stutter. I've tried changing from 24, to 50 to 60Hz and no changes. Any suggestions?

Yeh ..whack your RAM UP.....or your virtual RAM settings within windows......sounds like a bottle neck


Trying to process too much info in a short space of time.


Either the latter or you haven't got you setting right within windows.


They need to be the same as your videocards settings


That would be the most likley source of the conflict.

Interesting, I"ll check that out, but I'm doubtful as I have 2GB of RAM installed and not many services running.

Start>control panel>display>settings.


See what is appearing here and how it might conflict with you Videocards settings.
