I have 2 subs in the house and am trying to figure out which to put in my home theater. The other one will be relegated to my bedroom mini home theater.

Polk Audio PSW10

Velodyne CHT-10

It's a small home theater. 10 x 15.

The Polk aesthetically matches the other Polks in the home theater, but if the Velodyne is much better, I would rather have it in my theater.

Thanks.

I think think the Velodyne is a better sub of the two. The Polk won't be able to handle much deep bass at all and would be better off in a smaller room.

Why not just put them both side by side in your HT and test them? If the Velodyne sounds better, you'll just have to figure out if the trade-off of aesthetics for sound quality is worth it.

Thanks all. I will try a side by side. Just thought if one was universally better than the other would save some time. I should know, no shortcuts...
