Sub Install/wiring help

I have a RG6 quad sheild run throug the wall for sub. I am thinking of attaching male (what you see in video connection) connectors to RG6 and have F to RCA connector in the wall plate. From there I will use sub RCA cable to connect to sub as well as receiver.


I am not sure how everyone else is connecting their sub to receiver other then either running a dedicated sub cable through wall or out of wall.


Please advice,

Thats what I planned on doing (just ordered everything online today). Parts Express (partsexpress.com) has a rg6 to RCA connector in a wall plate that eliminates the need for an F connector. this may (can't say for sure because I haven't done it yet) be easier.

Actually I just bought a long 1/2" drill bit and ran a sub cable right through the hole. A bit crude maybe but it works.
