hi guys i have 2 352bpm atlantic tech subs, we had a bad storm, and both started a loud hum out of the blue with nothing turned on, and it is a loud hum, and sometimes it has a crackle. now i unhooked all the conections from both, and when i turned them back on, they did the same thing.. did they get struck or is it something else.

thanks

For a Temporary fix you can use a 3to2 cheater plug for $.75 from depot or Lowes. That will at least make bearable.

It could potentially be a ground loop problem -- in which case a cheater plug might help -- but if it only happened after a storm I'm not so sure that's what it is. But at least it's a cheap and easy thing to try.
