Hey guys, I'm having trouble changing the subtitle style while watching a movie using .sub files.

I'm using PotPlayer (and MPC-BE) with MadVR and LAV Video/Audio. Like I said, it's a .sub file with its .idx companion. I am frustratingly unable to change the font style in any way, except for being able to make it fade in and out. Everything else, I'm stuck. I've tried choosing "override font style settings" in PotPlayer to no avail.

I am, however, able to change the style freely when I watch videos using .srt files.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated folks!

SUB is a graphic format; you can't style it like text.

Ooooh I see, thank you very much!

Actually, wait a minute... DirectVobSub was able to change the style - although it reproduced the subtitles, duplicating the ones produced by PotPlayer. Do video players just lack this capability?
