I just got a new Definitive Technology ProSub 60.

I have an Onkyo TX-DS777 receiver.

I ran a Monster cable M1000 sub cable from the Onkyo to the LFE input on the back of the subwoofer.

It works, but I'm finding that the subwoofer "auto" powers-on only when the volume is up very very high. (-9dB or so).

Any ideas what I can do to make it "auto-on" at a lower volume?

Thanks!

Turn up the receiver's subwoofer channel output, turn down the gain on the back of the subwoofer...yielding the same volume but sending more signal to the sub to wake it up at normal volumes and keep it on during program material.
